210.490.8645 MEMORANDUM FOR ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES Confidentiality: All nominations are confidential. Nomination: Any employee, elected or appointed official, volunteer, vendor, or anyone who does business with, or receives services from the City may nominate a City employee for the Employee of the Year award. Self-nomination is permissible. Completed forms should be returned to his/her supervisor or the City Administrator. Deadline: Nominations MUST be turned in to department heads by Monday, March 7, 2011 at 5 p.m. in order to be considered by the Selection Committee. Committee: The Selection Committee consists of three members: a Department Head and two employees-at-large, The City Administrator shall serve as chair and shall select the members of the committee after all nominations are turned in. Committee members are not eligible for the Employee of the Year award. Committee Action: The Selection Committee will review the nominations and select the Employee of the Year. The recipient will attend the March Council meeting and the Mayor will present a plaque in recognition of his/her achievement. Click here to download the nomination form.
