The Municipal Court hears alleged
traffic infractions, ordinance violations, and Class C misdemeanors that
occur inside the City Limits of Hill Country Village. Court meets once a
month.

DRIVING
SAFETY COURSE
You MAY be able to request that
this charge be dismissed by taking a Driving Safety Course for speeding or
stop sign violations if you appear in person or if you send by
certified or regular mail the completed form on the back and:
1. Enter a plea of “guilty” or
“no contest” to the charge, and mark the line to request to take the
course;
2. Mail in fee of $107.10 with a check/money order made payable to “The
City of Hill Country Village”.
3.
Mail in a photocopy of your valid
Texas
driver license and liability insurance in your name valid on the date of
the ticket.
Once payment is received, the Court
will mail you the necessary forms.
Driving Safety Course cannot be
taken to dismiss the charge if the defendant (ticket holder) has taken the
course within the past twelve months, was speeding 25 mph or more over the
speed limit, or holds a Commercial driver license.
Do NOT take course prior to Court
approval. If you fail to request a Driving Safety Course on or before your
appearance date, you lose your right to take the course.

Once permission is granted, the
course must be completed within 90 days.
Send the Court the ‘Uniform Certificate of Completion’ (signed
Court copy) and your driving record, obtainable from DPS for $10.
The Court will supply this form, or you may visit http://www.txdps.state.tx.us.
