Consent Agenda:
All items under consent agenda are heard collectively
unless opposition is presented in which case the contested item will be
considered, discussed, and appropriate action taken separately.
- Approving the minutes for the following meeting:
- Regular Council Meeting—October 21, 2004
- Special Council Meeting—November 10, 2004
- Certifying the 2004 Tax Rolls from the Bexar County
Tax Assessor-Collector.
- An ordinance appointing Javier Garcia as Fire Marshal
effective November 2, 2004.
- An ordinance accepting the resignation of Paul Anton
as Relief Officer effective October 1, 2004.
- An ordinance appointing Kim Fieldhausen as Patrol
Officer effective November 2, 2004.
- An ordinance appointing Lauren M. Dunn as
Administrative Assistant effective November 15, 2004.
- Approving a software license
agreement with Cardinal Tracking, Inc.
- Approving a service agreement with TrafficPayment.com
to provide on-line credit card payment for tickets in the Hill Country
Village Municipal Court.
- Approving the purchase of new microphones for the
Council/Court Room.
- An ordinance designating the official newspaper of the
City of Hill Country Village.

City Council cannot discuss any
presented issue, nor may any action be taken on any issue at this time, except
that a statement of fact, including policy, may be made if responsive to an

- Communications with the City Administrator.
- Discussion/action regarding acceptance of the City’s
October 31, 2004, financial statement. (10 minutes)
- Discussion/action
regarding a request for a variance to Sign Ordinance 863 from Ronnie Belden,
Belden’s Ace Hardware, 13811 San Pedro.
- Discussion/action
regarding increased speed limit enforcement and traffic calming devices
including speed humps on Hidden View. (Evans)
- Discussion/action
regarding adoption of an ordinance repealing Ordinance 716, section 2
regarding no left turn from Winding Way on to South Tower between 6 a.m. and
9 a.m. and no left turn from Marmon Ridge on to Tower Drive. (10 minutes)

regarding Ambulance services in the City. (10 minutes)
- Discussion/action
regarding Fire & Rescue services in the City.

Hill Country Village will meet in Executive Session under Tex. Gov’t Code §
551.071: Consultation with Attorney; Pending or Contemplated Litigation.
- Discussion regarding cause number 2004-CI-11956, the City of Hill
Country Village vs. Manuel Valdes and Adrina Valdes.
- Discussion regarding
pending litigation styled Susan Heck, Plaintiff,
versus City of Hill Country Village, Texas, Defendant.
- Discussion regarding
pending litigation styled Susan Heck, Plaintiff,
versus City of Hill Country Village, Texas; and David J. Harris,
