SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

1.      Call to order.

2.      Moment of Silence and Pledge of Allegiance.

  1. A public hearing, discussion, and appropriate action to order the demolition of the burned structure located at 116 Village Circle as a substandard structure and a hazard to the public health, safety, and welfare and as an unsecured structure that could be entered by children.
  2. Discussion/action regarding canceling the City Officers election previously set for May 7, 2005 for City Council Places 1, 3, and 5.
  3. Communications with the City Administrator.
  4. Mayor’s Report.
  5. Adjourn.

 

The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultations with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development).
