1.      Call to order.

2.      Moment of Silence and Pledge of Allegiance.

3.   A Public Hearing regarding an annexation request by Artisans Alley, Inc., to annex approximately 4.08 acres adjacent to and to be annexed into the City of Hill Country Village.

 

Consent Agenda:

 

4.   Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of January 19, 2006 and the Special Council Meeting of February 6, 2006.

5.   Accepting a report from the Police Department regarding Racial Profiling for calendar year 2005 as mandated by Senate Bill 1074 of the 77th Legislature.

6.  Approving a purchase of patrol cars and associated equipment for the Police Department from the Capital Replacement Fund and appropriate budgetary transfer.

7.  Citizens to be heard.  

      City Council cannot discuss any presented issue, nor may any action be taken on any issue at this time, except that a statement of fact, including policy, may be made if responsive to an issue presented (AG opinion JC-0169).

8.   January 31, 2006 financial statement.

9.   A request for a variance to Ordinance 863, regulating signage, for Auto Group of San Antonio, 15111 San Pedro.

10.  An ordinance adopting a new Code of Ordinances, providing for the repeal of certain ordinances in conflict with the new Code or that are no longer applicable, and establishing penalties for violation(s) of the new Code (10 minutes).

11.  An ordinance adopting the 2003 International Building Codes with amendments.

12. Communications with the City Administrator.

13. Adjourn.

 

All items under consent agenda are heard collectively unless opposition is presented in which case the contested item will be considered, discussed, and appropriate action taken separately.

 

The Council reserves the right to discuss and appropriately act upon any item stated on this agenda in open session.  The Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultations with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development).  No action may be taken in Executive Session.
